Martin Schachinger

Martin Schachinger was already concentrating on renewable energies during his studies in Electric Energy Technology at the Technical University in Berlin. In 1994, he joined EUROSOLAR, the European Association for Renewable Energy. During this period of voluntary work in different work groups, he first made contact with representatives from industry, economy and politics.

The graduate engineer went on to work in the photovoltaics industry (for manufacturers of solar modules and collectors) for several years as a product manager and as a sales and marketing manager. Work in the same field followed with his activity in the solar industry association BSi (now BSW). During this time, he built a large-scale network of specialised dealers, installation firms and module and component manufacturers.

Kai Malkwitz
General Manager

Kai Malkwitz studied electrical engineering and electronic business in Berlin. In 1995, he joined the IT trading and service company Computerhouseberlin as a shareholder and managing director. Over the years, he shifted his main area of activity and has been a consultant and lecturer for Internet technologies and general IT applications since 1999. International companies from many industries are among his customers. Based on his experiences, he set up pvXchange together with Martin Schachinger in 2004. Malkwitz is the technical managing director in the photovoltaics company and therefore the main person responsible for the development and implementation of the Internet portal.

Florian Meyer-Delpho
Sales Director

The "Europa Betriebswirt", post-graduate of European business management, has been active in the solar industry since 2002. His professional orientation is based on his final paper on the subject of "Commercial Uses of Solar Energy in Developing and Growing Markets". He gained industry experience in Spain and Germany, and his last positions where marketing manager (B2B) and managing director (B2C) in the field of solar power. At pvXchange, he is responsible for internationalisation, customer relations and manages sales and distribution. In addition to his job as consultant for the Energy Agency NRW, he is active on behalf of EUROSOLAR and the International Solar Energy Society working towards a worldwide expansion of renewable energies to meet the global demand for energy. As a shareholder of the International Energy Academy Ltd. in Nigeria, the transfer of know-how from industrial states to southern countries is of particular interest.
